It’s been 4 whole months of me living in Los Angeles, and girl has it been a journey.
I’m earnestly loving every moment of this experience. My life almost feels like a vacation every day living in California, but it definitely hasn’t come without a few downs to go along with the ups.
This being my first time living alone, I feel so interesting. That feels like the most accurate word describe the comfort and constant desire I have to be alone, whilst also seeking to try and experience any and every thing that remotely interests me.
I’ve got so much to learn but to be honest, I haven’t fully settled in. As I type this from my couch, I have my currently placed desk in front of me where a coffee table might be, facing a variety of art leaned against the wall, a bed without a frame, a table without chairs. It is truly a transition.
There’s always so much going through my mind and I’m constantly considering how to manage my emotions, my desires, and my responsibilities with the intrigue and wonder of the new experiences placed before me.
I must say, though I haven’t quite found a rhythm, I do love being new. I’m seeking ways now to find my own routine and schedule — to continue to put in the work to build a life I desire and love.
I’m excited to watch it all unfold, but I’m even more excited to be right where I’m at. Right now.
