I'm so glad that you've ended up here. she, in the making is truly a labor of genuine love & passion. I always prioritize creating with brands and people with good hearts & intentions and hope for this to be a place for you all to feel inspired & uplifted.
a little more about me? If it's creative, i've probably done it. i've worn many hats, from hand-letterer to wedding photographer to social media manager & copywriter to events manager & art agent.
THROUGH ALL OF THAT, I'VE LEARNED THAT oNE THING'S FOR CERTAIN & THAT IS THAT AT MY CORE, I WILL ALWAYS BE A STRATEGIST AND I WILL ALWAYS BE AN ENTREPRENEUR.
I believe so many of us have a dream in our hearts that we want to bring to life but have no clue how to get there. my aim for she, in the making is to be a inspirational landing in that process of becoming.Personally, I have a vested interest in supporting marginalized communities through my work and life, which brings me to two other projects near and dear to my heart --- vision in the making & let's buy black the block (find out more below).
before the pandemic, I SPEARHEADED EVENTS & MARKETING FOR BUMBLE IN THE DALLAS FORT WORTH METROPLEx for 3 years, FACILITATING PARTNERSHIPS AND CREATING INITIATIVES THAT TURNED INTO NATIONWIDE CAMPAIGNs. I also got the opportunity to engage in fun opportunities like this live q&a with dallas' abc network. NOW, i'M thrilled TO BE WORKING WITH PINTEREST AS A CREATOR MANAGER -- HELPING INFLUENCERS & ENTREPRENEURS GROW & EXCEL towards their dreams.

LET'S BUY BLACK THE BLOCK IS A VISUAL DISCOVERY ENGINE TO EASILY FIND AND SUPPORT BLACK OWNED BRANDS. IT WAS BIRTHED FROM A PLACE OF HURTING DURING THE SUMMER OF 2020. A FEW OF MY FRIENDS AND I WANTED TO FIND A WAY TO SHINE A LIGHT ON ALL OF THE AMAZING THINGS HAPPENING IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY AND SUPPORT IT IN THE PROCESS. AND THUS, THE PLATFORM WAS BORN.
Vision In The Making is a community created to provide women of color with accountability, community, and the tools for execution to go after their goals. After coming to a place myself where I had so much I wanted to accomplish and felt was a part of my purpose, but very little accountability in my journey, I realized that this community was not only a fun idea, but vital for women to experience.
